Our Story

Armor the Home was birthed after the Lord prompted me to start a blog. It wasn’t something I wanted to do initially and remember not knowing what the blog would be about. I asked Holy Spirit the question one night writing in my journal. Soon enough early the next morning, I remember hearing and seeing the words “Armor the Home” and into a vision of a shield. This marked the beginning.

As I gradually released writing through Armor the Home, the Lord revealed His intention to turn it more than just a blog but into ministry which was never part of the plan. Prior to the release of this ministry our family walked through intense spiritual warfare where it was a battle between heaven and hell. Through these trails the Lord began to equip and teach our family with blueprints and strategies for healing and freedom within our family and home.

We soon realized Armor the Home has been a message woven into our personal story and testimony that the Lord started over a decade ago. It’s a call to recognize our homes are ministries and to understand the significance of having gospel centered homes filled with His peace, power and presence. Our homes are not only training grounds for the days ahead but also places where our families can find healing and freedom in Jesus Christ. It is a pod for heaven on earth.

The Lord loves family. In a time more than ever where the enemy seeks to destroy, divide, confuse, and bring chaos into our homes and families. God’s heart is focused on protecting and bringing freedom.

Despite the battle we are up against, there is an army rising up to defend the sanctity of home. It is time for us to rise up, armor ourselves, and stand firm. You are not alone in this fight.
